PRODUCED IN CANADA
Featured on this page are Tiny Tonka manufactured and sold in Canada. You will notice that the Tonka sticker might say “Toronto, Canada”. These toys were actually manufactured in Mississauga, Ontario and sold by Tonka Corp. Canada LTD. The toys do not say made in Canada but the decal gives in away. In the late 70’s Tonka switched to putting “Made in Canada” on some toys. But, by then they were switching to plastic and these toys had that marking. The metal ones still did not. No. 944 Scrap Laddle
1977 or 78 Canadian Scrap Laddle Tonka version in blue. There was also a red version. This can also be found in some sets.
No. 535 Canadian Dump
1974-75. The sticker says Toronto, Canada in white. Paint scheme same as the ones sold in the USA.

The firetruck is often found in many complete sets but it was sold as an individual unit.
