1970 was the year of the Tonka cars, they were often referred to as “Crazy A’s” There were many versions of cars produced over the years. Some were sold as individual units, others combined into sets. Featured on this page are just some of the ones I am aware of. No. 765 San Roamer
Released in 1972. First year of production shown in the original box.
No. 750 Hot Trike
This was new for 1972 featuring a red, white and blue paint scheme along with chrome tires.
No. 450 Mod Rod
Release year: 1970 featuring black running boards, yellow body with a black windshield. The 1971 version is below.
No. 503 Fun Buggy
Release year: 1974 and 1975. There are a few paint variations to this model.

Released in 1972. First year of production shown in the original box.

Decal eliminated on hood and white hubs for the first time.

Release year: 1970 features blue body, exposed engine and large rear wheels
